This post is about more than Samhain, but it seemed an appropriate way to start… Tomorrow night I’ll be getting out the Halloween decorations and putting them up, as time permits. I love Halloween, it’s become my favorite holiday.
Yesterday and today were a study of contrasts. Yesterday I was restless, couldn’t hardly sit still, it was definitely worse after I got home than it was at work, where I couldn’t hardly sit still anyway. Watching part of The Matrix helped, but it didn’t last long. I had an unpleasant dream last night… I can’t say nightmare, because it wasn’t frightening, but I would have been better off without it, I think. I kinda picked up where I left off this morning until I got to visit Riverbanks.
I haven’t been able to get this post out of my head for about 2 days now, I need to get this down before it drives me out of my head. I’ve been thinking about the subject of integrity lately, specifically my integrity - or lack thereof.

Well, It’s been a week since my last post, and I have various and sundry things to tell you about.
I went to jujitsu class for the first time in almost three weeks last night and managed to get injured. Not badly, but enough to be aggravating.

It is my great honor and privilege to announce to you that approximately one hour ago, I was promoted to the rank of sankyu, or brown belt.
I know I don’t normally post on Wednesdays, but I really want to share this with you. Tonight was the first jujitsu class of the new year, and the first in almost 2 weeks.
