the happiness experiment, day two

I prefer my blog entries to be standalone entries – write my thoughts out into a few brief paragraphs and let them go, rather than carrying them over a several day period. It makes them easier to write, and I don’t have to worry about things like continuity, or whether you’ve read the previous entries so this one actually makes sense to you, stuff like that. But I felt the impact of the experiment could potentially be so great that it deserved at least one more entry. So I’ll start by giving you an update on how the rest of day 1 went.

my new garden

After 5 days of vacation in which the weather was crappy for 4 of them, I went back to work today.  This afternoon when I got home, I went outside and pulled most of the remnants of last year’s weeds from the garden area.

I’ve noticed that my garden is not doing too well this year, I think the dirt I planted it in is nutritionally deficient, it’s showing signs of nitrogen  deficiency.

Happy New Year!  2007 is going to be a great year for me, and I hope for you too.  i got on the scale this morning and weighed in at 183.8 lbs, 2 lbs less than last Monday.  At this rate, I’ll have reached my goal of 175 lbs by the beginning of February!  It’ll be interesting to see where my weight finally stabilizes.  On with the show.
