luck

The older I get and the more I see in this world, the more I’m convinced that people make their own luck.  More precisely, I think what people often refer to as luck isn’t really luck at all, but is a result of the subconscious mind made manifest in physical form.  Which brings us back to the Law of Attraction.

The obvious question is, why do bad things happen to good people?  My response is not an answer, but another question: are you sure you are seeing the situation correctly?  One of things I dislike about people who follow LOA, is they often assume that’s the only universal law at work.  There are others, such as the Law of Karma.  Actions have consequences, whether it’s in this lifetime or the next.  What may appear to be ‘bad luck’ in this lifetime might be repayment of a karmic debt.  Conversely, what may appear as ‘good luck’ may really be the result of years of hard work and aligning their thoughts to attract those things into their life.

If you think someone has been lucky, take a closer look before you label it luck.  I think in most instances you’re going to find two things in common - one, the person does what needs to be done at the right time and right place.  Two, there’s a lot of confidence involved.  Confidence is the currency of attraction - it is the fuel that gives us the energy to do what needs to be done and to believe we are doing the right thing.

Do you feel lucky?
