unexpected find

Sunday, November 30th, 2008

Yesterday I was doing my grocery shopping as I usually do Saturday mornings, and when I stopped in one store I found something I haven’t seen in at least a couple years: chestnuts. Like pumpkin pie, chestnuts typically only come around once a year. Sadly, they are getting harder and harder to find.

Although it’s been more than a week since the martial arts clinic ended, it continues to have a profound effect on my life.  Especially the Huna 1 class.  Since then, my interest in metaphysical subjects has re-awakened.  Life is improving for me, and I’m feel more like myself than I have in a while.  I’m calmer at work too.  I have the Huna 1 class to thank for it.

status quo

Friday, November 7th, 2008

Lately I’ve been pretty irritable, and admittedly, on some days, I’ve been down right bitchy.  I look at the things that have become normal, or the status quo for my life, and I’m unhappy about quite a bit of it.  Yeah, there’s a rant coming, because I just need to get this off my chest.
