A couple of housekeeping items before I get into today’s post: first, yesterday I weighed in at 179.4, yay me!  Just a few pounds to go… I ‘ve been sitting on this idea for a while, until I felt like I didn’t have a lot going on to talk about, but simething happened  recently that I thought I should go ahead and write this now.

It’s been a rough couple of days the last two days or so.  I just changed job responsibilities to do more coding, which is what I want, but since I started, there’s been one predominant question in my mind that won’t go away: am I good enough to make it?

It is my great honor and privilege to announce to you that approximately one hour ago, I was promoted to the rank of sankyu, or brown belt.

For you readers that I haven’t told this to yet, I decided to try my hand at online dating a little while ago. And now that my profile has been out there for a little while, I’ve come to one inescapable conclusion: online dating sucks.
