State fair blues

Saturday, October 14th, 2006

My parents came to twon yesterday, and not know what else to do with them, I suggested we go to the state fair, which we did.  And while I got some cool new pictures while I was there, it wasn’t all it was cracked up to be.

patience may be a virtue, but….

This past Sunday I went to the first official Reiki Shares held at the Magyck Veil, held a couple of hours prior to the full moon ritual.  Sadly enough, I was really the only Reiki practitioner in attendance.  There was at least one other who would normally have been there except for family stuff, and another actually was in the store, but couldn’t really partcipate because she was running the register.

Before I get going on this topic, I’ll start by saying that the Halloween decorations are almost all up, I pretty much just need to plug in the lights and get out the fog machine…

There is a recurring theme in my life at the moment, that of keys. I have a matted and framed print of Jessica Galbreth’s Night Queen hanging in my bedroom, which I bought not long ago at a festival I went to. I sat and looked at the picture for a long time before I decided to buy it, although I wanted it almost as soon as I saw it. Anyway, I brought it home and put it up in my room, and it was almost a month before I noticed the key she’s holding in her hand.
